General Rules:
Additional Rules:
1.Tickets $5 each or $20 for 5 tickets– tickets will be voided and destroyed each week after the drawing.
2. Winner will receive 10% of the weekly sales if the Ace of Spades is not drawn and not present at event. Winner will get 20% of weekly sales if present at draw event and Ace of Spades is not drawn. If the Ace of Spades is drawn, winner will receive 50% of the pot and the Bon Homme Baseball Association will received 50%.
3. Weekly ticket sales will resume until the following week, and money not won will be added to the progressive pot minus the holdings for the previous 10%/20% winner.
4. Live drawings will be held at alternating locations of Tammy's 19th Hole in Tyndall, Norm's Bar in Springfield and The Keg in Tabor starting at 7pm on Wednesday evenings. The events will also be recorded and posted online with dates, location, etc.
5. The winning ticket holder for each week will select an envelope to be open in a public forum and will be recorded. If that envelope does not hold the Ace of Spades, it will be eliminated for the next draw. Since there are 52 cards in a deck, we start with 52 envelopes.
6. If the winning ticket holder is not present and did not give an envelope # and/or they picked an envelope that has already been eliminated, a random envelope will be picked at the discretion of the BHBA board instead to move the event along for that week.
7. Ticket sales are restricted to 21 years of age or older.
8. A standard deck of cards will be used, and they will be placed in sealed envelopes and also signed on the outside to make sure they are not tampered with after being placed in envelopes. The deck of cards before they are placed into envelopes will be shuffled twice and split by 3 different people and will be placed into the envelopes faced down so nobody knows where the Ace of Spades is including the board members. All of this will be recored as well to ensure fairness of event.
9. Tickets can be purchased online through Venmo @bonhommebaseball up to 5mins before the start of the event. Any tickets sold after will be applied to the following week drawing unless the Ace of Spades is picked. Bon Homme Baseball Board reserves all rights to accept ticket sales.
10. No refunds on purchases.
11. Cash/Check or Venmo Sales only.
12. No limit on the number of tickets purchased by an individual.
13. If a group purchase is made one person must be listed to be contacted.
14. If the winning is over the South Dakota Lottery and/or IRS Gambling reportable amount, these winnings will be reported to the IRS through the Form W-2G (Certain Gambling Winnings). Winner must adhere to all applicable rules/regulations required by the IRS to be eligible for winnings and it is the sole responsibility of the winner to make sure IRS rules are adhered to and will not be the responsibility of BHBA. The winnings could be subject to the IRS withholding of 24% from prizes of more than $5,000. When you claim prize amounts of $600 - $4999 we will provide you with a W-2G when you pick up your prize.
15. Winner’s check will be available the night of the drawing or can be picked up later if arrangements are made. BHBA will also mail a check to address if no arrangement is made.
